Thai Nguyen (formerly Bac Kan) – The Application of IMOs in Pig Raising

A feature report on the support measures, the application of indigenous microorganisms (IMOs), provided by the Project funded by BftW and implemented by DWC in Ngan Son and Pac Nam districts of Bac Kan Province (now part of Thai Nguyen Province).

African swine fever causes significant losses to farmers every year. However, in several households in the northern communes of the province, organic farming practices have been adopted, using indigenous microorganisms to ferment feed, helping pig herds stay healthy and grow steadily.
